DESCRIPTION:\n\n \nWe are pleased to announce that Covilhã will host the European Universities Handball Championship 2025, a remarkable sport and cultural event taking place from July 22nd to July 28th, 2025. Delegations are expected to arrive on July 21st, with the official closing ceremony and departure scheduled for July 29th.\nThis prestigious international event will bring together approximately 600 participants, including 12 men’s teams and 12 women’s teams, referees, delegates, and team members, representing universities from across Europe.
